In spring of the year 1993, George worked at the rock radio that is located in Kelowna, British Columbia.
He then started working as producer as well as hot at the Much Music for the program called The Punk Show.
He also became the host of the New Music, Much News and Much LOUD. In 2004, he was featured on the CBC TV’s THE Greatest Canadian series as advocate for Tommy Douglas.
In addition to that, he has also hosted long-running Sunday night talk radio show called The Strombo Show which was originally aired as the talk show on the CFRB in Toronto and the CJAD in Montreal, it moved to Corus network in November of the year 2007 as well as the format changed to one of the mainly music.
Later, he worked at CFNY-FM to host several shows that include Live in Toronto.
He also starred on "The Greatest Canadian", one of the CBC television series, as the advocate in 2004. He became the host of the American reality television talent show, "The One: Making a Music star" that was aired on ABC. Because he is a sedulous and authentic media personality, he has been getting an attractive salary from his workplace.
